We always wanted to build a new home that would suit our needs as a joint family but were a bit skeptical as the market was very uncertain with builder going under every week. That’s when a friend recommend us to Shri Homes.
We placed our trust with Shri Homes and they lived up to it. All our design needs were complemented with their expert advice and we are so happy with the finished product, be it the number of ensuites or bigger shower space. We wanted our home to be practical with large kitchen to meet our family needs.
One of the most favourite feature of our home is the facade. Another thing I want to add is the last minute changes they accommodated to segregate our in -house temple and add design features. We had the space designated for it from the time we finalised plans but having it finished design wise, it’s very special for us. All our requirements were taken into account and executed flawlessly.
Construction process was pretty smooth and organised. We received regular updates throughout the build process and had all our questions answered proactively.
We were also approached for the 6 months maintenance period inspection and the concerns we had raised were promptly addressed. We had been happy with the build but even happier with the service and team’s proactiveness in resolving concerns post handover.

When we started looking for a builder to construct our first home, we visited many display homes from major volume builders as well as multiple custom home builders across Melbourne.
With one of the major volume builders, we had even progressed to the next stage and were almost ready to sign the contract and pay the deposit. However, during the final discussions, we realised there were many hidden exclusions that would eventually be required and would significantly increase our construction cost.
That’s where Shri Homes stood out from the rest. From the very first day, everything was clear and transparent. Whatever was discussed and written in the contract was delivered exactly as promised. The timelines committed at the start were also followed properly, and throughout the construction process we received regular updates from the Shri Homes team, which gave us great confidence and peace of mind.
In fact, on a few occasions during construction, we changed our mind and requested internal modifications, all of which were accommodated without any issues. This flexibility was something clearly missing with other builders, who usually allow only limited changes after signing the contract.
