For them, this home marks a second chapter one approached with more clarity and intention.
As a family of three, they wanted a space that felt comfortable, open, and truly aligned with how they live day to day. This time, the focus was on getting the details right and creating something that felt personal a home shaped around their lifestyle and the way Raj and Anita see themselves living in it over time. From the beginning, the direction was clear.
“I told him what I wanted and he said, leave it to me tell me what you need and we’ll make it happen,” he recalled. That sense of confidence carried through into a home that feels calm, considered, and easy to live in.
Building custom gave them the freedom to shape their home around their needs rather than adjusting to a fixed design. They wanted flexibility in the process but also reassured that their ideas would be understood and delivered properly. Looking back, the experience reflects exactly that.
“It’s been a great journey honestly the best experience and the best decision we took,” he said.
The home has been designed with a clean, open feel that works for both everyday living and entertaining. The open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area forms the center of the home, supported by an oversized island and butler’s pantry. The bi-fold doors extend this space out to the alfresco, creating a natural indoor-outdoor connection.
A defining feature is the void above the staircase, which brings in light and gives the home a greater sense of space. Overall, the home feels practical, well- balanced, and easy to live in.
What made the biggest difference throughout the build was the level of communication and support. Having a consistent point of contact gave them confidence at every stage.
“Deepak was one of the best guys he was my main point of contact from start to finish,” he shared. Even when things came up, they were handled smoothly.
“Anything that came up, he was there to look after it,” he added. Throughout the process, the experience felt organised, clear, and well-managed.
Confidence in the build wasn’t just based on how things felt they wanted to be certain about the quality So, they brought in a private inspector to review the home.
“I hired a private inspector, and he said it’s five-star, man,” he recalled. The feedback spoke directly to the workmanship, trades, and materials used.
“He said this builder knows what he’s doing the quality and the workmanship is top notch,” he explained. That only confirmed what they already felt.
“It’s been a great journey honestly the best experience and the best decision we took,” he added.
One of the biggest advantages was the ability to make changes along the way and still have everything handled properly. In the bathrooms, they upgraded to floor-to-ceiling tiles to achieve a more complete finish.
“We changed that later and decided to go floor-to-ceiling tiles,” he said.
They also updated the kitchen splash back once the rest of the home came together. “It didn’t really match the color of the house, so we changed it,” he explained. Even at that stage, everything was managed smoothly. “They replaced it and sorted everything out that was great,” he added. These moments are what made the home feel truly custom.
A home that reflects their vision
Now living in the home, there’s a clear sense of satisfaction not just in how it looks, but in how well it works for them every day. “Everything came together exactly the way we wanted,” he shared.
Looking back on the journey, the decision feels straightforward. “It’s been a great experience from start to finish we’d definitely recommend Shri Homes.”
